English Essay on “Manners Maketh a Man”

There is an apt quotation that says, "think good and feel goodâ€. It is an accepted fact that our mental state of mind is very closely related to our physical health. If both are in order, we are considered 'fit' if even one of these is 'ill', we will be 'disturbed'. Physically, our endeavour to keep fit is related to plenty of exercise, fresh unpolluted air, good food!

In the fast paced, nerve racking world we live in today, the need to exercise is being promoted by health experts in a big way, their plus points advertised in bold letters. Places to workout, sweat and develop physically have opened their

doors to countless people regardless of age or social status. People realise, particularly those with stressful jobs the importance of 'Letting go', completely and becoming physically tired--the balm for a tense, exhausted mind!

Come evening, one sees plenty of 'walkers', swinging their arms and walking seriously, for forty minutes at the least. Parks are full of old, young, middle-aged, children, all doing the 'rounds', because they know that 'Health is Wealth'.

Without health, all the wealth you amass is good-for-nothing. So, work and play, never one without the other, and stay healthy and wise.

QUESTIONS 1. When are we considered 'fit'? 2. How should we stay fit? 3. In the evenings, what does one see in parks? 4. How do you exercise-play games, walk, swim?
