Essay On If I Had Wings

Essay On If I Had Wings

My parents and I had gone shopping this Sunday. Since it was a holiday the roads were fully crowded. The road towards the city is quite narrow and hundreds of vehicles were heeding towards the city. Ultimately we were caught in the traffic jam after travelling some distance.

Everybody was in a hurry and was trying to take out his or her vehicle first. So the traffic worsened further. We became restless because of the pollution and delay. I asked my mother that now if I had wings what a fun it would have been. I would not have trapped in this traffic.

Really, God has blessed with everything. He gave us intelligence, thinking power, ability of conversation, everything. But He has not given us the ability to fly. He blessed only the birds with wings.

If at all I had wings like the birds, I would roam around in the sky for long hours. I would take a round whenever I get bored or tired. I, would feel fresh and energetic after inhaling the fresh, unpolluted air. I would travel long distances within a short period of time.

If I had wings, I won't require any vehicle. This would definitely save my money as no petrol or diesel will be required. I would also contribute towards preventing the pollution. I will take a world tour without spending a rupee.

I would like to see all the seven wonders and other renowned places in the world. I won't need any kind of ticket or railway reservation for that. I would eat fresh fruits directly from the trees. I can then even climb the coconut tree.

I will be able to see the rainbow and enjoy its beauty. I would make friends with the clouds and stars. I would not bother to follow any restrictions. If I had wings, I can have one more benefit. I would fly away if someone comes to fight with me or to beat me.

My mother or teachers will not be able to punish me. But would the birds allow me to fly in their territory? Or would they try to catch me because I am alone? In that case, it's better not to have wings.
