Essay on Morning walk in English

Introduction Once, Vinoba Bhave came to our school. Some of us decided to take part in his padyatra. It was the month of April. I got up early in the morning. Vinobajee led the padyatra at 4 a.m. We were about fifty. But soon a large number of villagers joined us.

Walking in early hours during the month of April is very nice and pleasant. The morning was neither very cool nor very warm. The moon was still in the sky. Some people were going silently. But some were talking about Gandhiji and Vinobajee.

A morning walk with such a great saint was a matter of pride for us. Scene before sunrise-We passed through several villages before sunrise. A large number of villagers-men, women and children-stood on both sides of the road to welcome Vinoba Bhave.

Some of them had garlands in their hands and some were standing with folded hands. At some places people were still sleeping. Some dogs barked at us. Perhaps they were disturbed by our foot steps. The chirping of birds broke the perfect silence of the morning. I felt that an early riser must be a fortunate man. Only he would know the true wealth of Nature and enjoy its real beauty.

End of the morning walk We went on and on. The sun was about to start. Some of us were singing religious song. But many of the people were chanting 'Raghupati Raja Ram' we walked about eight kilometres.

Our memorable morning ended a little after sunrise. We reached the place where Vinobajee had to address the villagers. Conclusion-We stayed there for two hours. At last we decided to return to our school. On the way we discussed the role of Vinobajee in the upliftment of our villages.

We talked about his Bhoodan, Gramdan, Prakhasddan and Zilladan. I bought all the books written by saint Vinoba a few days later. Thus we reached our school talking, playing and singing.

Essay on Morning walk in English

It is 5 o'clock in the morning and the shrill ring of the alarm clock wakes me up. I don't mind at all, because I am going with my friend for a long walk up a winding road called Rajpur Road that leads to Mussoorie.

I can already hear the pine trees whistling in the breeze. There are plenty of pine cones on the ground. My friend and I pick the best ones up.

There are so many exotic birds of different colours flying about. I wish I could catch them all, but I know that is not possible. The road is steep in some places and turns and twists like a snake. It is so beautiful.

The hill sides are covered with moss and wild roses. Some of the bushes have little red cherries on them. I do not know if they are edible, that is why I am not eating them up.

Thave heard there are a lot of snakes in the rose bushes, so both of us stay clear from them. Oops! it is time to turn back and hurry home. I am really hungry. Mummy must have made delicious breakfast for us. But there's tomorrow. We will walk again tomorrow, at the same time.
